Willows have long been a symbol of adaptability and hope.
The need to adapt quickly is prominent when dealing with chronic health challenges. The ability to adjust to new diagnoses and treatments is often challenging, but what enables us to push forward despite the pain, confusion, and frustration is hope.
Like willows, we may bend, sway, and be pushed to our limits when storms and turbulent winds arise, but we will not break because we can adapt to our surroundings on the basis that there is always hope to be found.
Through hope and faith, each of us can be willows, withstanding even the fiercest of storms.
Willows also symbolize healing.
Chronic illness can feel like an uphill battle. Sometimes it feels like no matter how much effort is placed into healing, it never comes. However, the longer I've dealt with health issues, the more I've realized that true healing means accepting what is while hoping for better. When we accept what is, we can be more intentional about caring for ourselves in the present moment.
The willow letters are written to empower you to intentionally care for your physical, mental, and spiritual well-being and guide you toward adaptability, hope, and healing.
